Capri-Sonne has also been one of the pioneers of the World Wide Web.
With its almost inconceivable number of websites for children and teenagers, the Internet has become an indispensible part of our everyday lives. At Capri-Sonne, we want to create a special place in the Internet for children and fans of our brand — not just a site that is fun and entertaining, but a venue where they can learn exciting new things.
Our website was designed especially for children, and it helps promote social, creative, logical and motor skills. The tasks that encourage logical reasoning and social intelligence have deliberately been integrated into the website's overall concept in a relaxed and child-friendly manner. The interactivity that the medium offers means that the content is fun for kids and can be understood on the fly. The website is designed to appeal to children's spirit of adventure but also be entertaining for adults.
So sit down with your kids to have a look at our Fun World, and talk to them about what you see and experience there. We hope you enjoy it!
A brief look back
Around 10 years ago, when the World Wide Web was still coming into its own, Capri-Sonne was an Internet pioneer. In 2000 Capri-Sonne opened its Fun World, which at the time was an utterly unique website that focused primarily on children. With its browser games, interactive elements and a child-friendly design, the Web had never seen anything like it before. Over the years, other elements were added such as information for parents or tips on staying hydrated.
Several million clicks later, it had become time for a new, innovative Capri-Sonne page on the Internet. The new page was launched in honor of Capri-Sonne's fortieth birthday in 2009, and you can see the results here.
